To help educate anyone who is interested in learning more about a city on the rise. West Palm Beach has seen dramatic changes over the last 10 years, and is now turning the corner in becoming on of the few cities with in tropical Florida with a thriving downtown, all year long. With new residents moving into the 5,000 plus new condo units daily, and many historical neighborhoods within a few short miles positioned along the intracoastal, the downtown has a plethora of options for all ages. As a member of the downtown neighborhood association, I with almost 500 member and growing in a few short years, aim to continue to shape the downtown in a positive way.
The aim of the page will be to try and not only provide you with real estate trends and statistics that can help people get a feel what this market, has to offer, but also keep locals informed of upcoming events, and get a better feel of what our great city has to offer.
Originally from the Midwest, I moved down to the West Coast of Florida in 2005. I have experienced just about every aspect of real estate during my first 5 years here. It started when I began working in a sales center at a successful builder, helping to manage the hundreds of new home contracts a month. After the builder boom busted in 2006, I went into went on to getting my mortgage and general real estate licenses. After a couple of years working on a successful team and helping to open a successful real estate brokerage where I focused my efforts on helping buyers purchase sales and bank foreclosures, I went on to a new endeavor. I worked for a group that specialized in purchasing foreclosures for the purpose of renovating, and helping first and second homebuyers take advantage of the opportunities for low interest FHA financing, on our newly renovated homes. I did this for over a year, and after I learned the ropes I decided to make a move to the other coast, where I am currently located.
That brings me to what I presently doing. Palm Beach County being the biggest county East of the Mississippi, and 3rd biggest in Florida with over 1.3 million people, offers a much bigger opportunity to do what I did in Lee County Florida. With over 50,000 pending foreclosures, and many more on the way, the opportunities for end users to get unbelievable deals with persist for years to come.
In addition to these favorable logistics, and being closer to family, I have opened a new office for Sun Realty here locally, which we are looking to grow. I have continued my most recent business plan of purchasing homes at foreclosure auctions, continue to develop the art of renovating homes with the goal of helping bring back real estate values one home at a time. With my background in mortgage, general real estate, foreclosures, short sales, construction and renovation, I feel I can help just about anyone achieve their goals in residential real estate.
